Fantastic evening of Dr Syn playing music from the best pop decades
A fabulous evening of live music when we went back to 60's and 70's with Dr Syn. Some wonderful retro gear and hairstyles were on show, and prizes were given for the best male/female costume. A brilliant night was had by all!

A lovely afternoon of conversation, tea, cake and carols with a Christmas themed quiz to stretch the mind. A great time was had by all.

Christmas market and meet Santa
Another fantastic family Christmas event, with market, Santa's grotto, free mulled wine, mince pies and the Big Light switch-on. Really well attended and enjoyed by all!

Light Up Larkfield For Christmas 2022

Christmas Market
Father Christmas arrived on a fire engine form Larkfield Station to deliver free chocolates to all the waiting children at our Christmas event. Hot mulled wine, and mince pies were given away, and market stalls did a brisk trade. A countdown signalled the Christmas lights switch on at 5.00. A festive afternoon enjoyed by all.

Tea, carols and cake
Another enjoyable afternoon of sandwiches, cake and tea at our Adults Christmas party of 2022 with a panto themed quiz to ponder, free raffle and carol singing to end. We had to contend with the first snow of the year, and unfortunately a few couldn't make it. During the afternoon the Larkfield Community Group presented a £500 cheque and 50 children's selection boxes to Alison Hayton of Larkfield Community Church for their food bank.

Jubilee Flower Bed 2022

Flower Bed to commemorate the Queens Jubilee
The Larkfield Community Group wanted to commemorate Queen Elizabeth 11's platinum Jubilee with a flowerbed for Larkfield residents to enjoy. It was planted with petunias in May and a plaque marking the occasion was unveiled on June 3rd by the local MP, Tracey Crouch with the Mayor and local dignitaries in attendance. It was replanted in the autumn with winter pansies.

Christmas fun
A wonderful afternoon of tea, sandwiches and cake, with plenty of fun trying to answer a fiendishly Christmas themed quiz! Carol singing with Joe Shepherd concluded a lovely festive afternoon.

Picnic On The Rec 2022

Summer Fun
A fantastic day of fun and music at the Recreation ground, where people joined in with picnics and games. Plenty of stalls, and food and drink was available all afternoon. We were blessed with fine weather and the great atmosphere continued until the end. We're already planning Picnic On The Rec 2023!
